Lucy is an OFSTED-registered childminder with a Level 5 Childcare qualification and over a decade of experience in the field. Her journey began in Germany, where she received her initial training at a nursery managed by the Armed Forces Family Federation (AFF), supporting British Forces families posted there.

In February 2014, following her husband's discharge from the British Army, Lucy and her family relocated to Manchester, UK. She continued her career at a local nursery, quickly rising to the position of a Deputy Manager within four years. Her experience and dedication inspired her to establish her own childminding business, Sure Beginners Childcare.

Lucy is committed to staying current with the ever-evolving childcare regulations and practices. She actively engages with the latest bulletins, guidance, and training sessions organized by OFSTED. Her dedication to childcare goes beyond a profession—it is her calling. This deep passion drives her unwavering commitment to the care and well-being of every child she looks after.

Martin is a chartered accountant and a proud ex-serviceman of the British Army. He holds a first-class degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana and brings his extensive expertise to Sure Beginners Childcare as both a childminding assistant and the Business Administrator.

An alumnus of one of the Big 4 accounting firms in the UK, Martin has a diverse professional background. Since leaving the army, his strong sense of duty and dedication have led him to work across various industries, including accounting, pensions, payroll, and audit. In 2024, he joined Sure Beginners Childcare, eager to contribute to the growth and success of the business.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys reading, listening to music, running, and playing volleyball. He also loves traveling and cherishes quality time with his family. Martin's multifaceted interests and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to the Sure Beginners team.
